About PZ Clean

Experience That Shapes Better Training

PZ Clean Medical Training brings together operational medicine, clinical practice, and medical education to prepare people to respond when the situation is uncertain and the stakes are real.

Who We Are

Medical Training Grounded in Experience

PZ Clean was built around a simple idea: medical training should prepare people to perform, not simply complete a course.

Our instruction is informed by experience across military medicine, emergency and clinical care, austere environments, and medical education. That perspective shapes how we teach the fundamentals, develop scenarios, and prepare students to make decisions when real emergencies do not follow a script.

Whether the audience is a healthcare professional, response team, business, outdoor organization, or community group, the objective remains the same: build practical capability and confidence.

Built on Experience

From Operational Medicine to the Classroom

Operational Medicine

More than two decades of military service included extensive experience supporting complex operations, austere environments, medical teams, and high-consequence missions.

Clinical Practice

Years of clinical practice provide a foundation in practical patient care, medical decision-making, and the realities of managing illness and injury outside the classroom.

Medical Education

Experience teaching medical personnel, response teams, and community learners informs an approach centered on clear instruction, deliberate practice, and useful feedback.

Austere & Remote Environments

Training is shaped by experience in environments where resources may be limited, evacuation may be delayed, and good decisions matter as much as technical skill.

Why It Matters

Experience is Useful Only if it Makes the Training Better

Focus on What Matters

Students learn the core skills and decisions that have the greatest impact when time, information, or resources are limited.

Make Training Relevant

Courses are connected to realistic environments, problems, and decisions rather than taught only as isolated skills.

Build Confidence Through Practice

Students are given opportunities to apply what they learn, receive feedback, and develop confidence before the skill is needed for real.
